Hi, I’m Kat Westcott, a freelance graphic and web designer living in Chattanooga, TN. Graphic design is in my blood: my grandfather owned a printing company and my dad worked there, so as a kid I grew up surrounded by paper and metal type, the sound of printing presses, and the smell of ink, plates and darkroom film. I loved it and have worked in the industry ever since.
Nearly twenty years ago I started my own full-time freelance graphic design studio where I work with clients worldwide to help bring their visions to life, creating and producing everything from web design, print design, packaging design, brand identity, trade show display design, signage and more.

As a web designer, I create websites that are both beautiful and functional, working with a skilled programming team to bring you standards compliant code to ensure maximum cross-browser compatibility and accessibility. I also specialize in designing custom WordPress sites. Wordpress not only provides great custom design freedom; it’s also a powerful content management tool that allows you, the client, to edit your own content if you wish.
I have extensive experience in the various aspects of print design, including photo editing, image optimization, digital and offset printing, bookbinding, special techniques, and projects of any size. Projects have ranged from small in-house creations to digital specialty printing to over-sized book production in Europe. Whatever the scale, I love making you look good.
